The differences brought up in the comparison of the entrants and the alumni groups reveal very specific changes in the interviewees world view, if compared to the initial and the final phases of the course. |

Esta pesquisa propõe uma análise da aquisição de capital social no contexto específico do Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni), considerando as perspectivas de seus beneficiados, particularmente alunos bolsistas autodeclarados negros (pretos ou pardos) estudando em uma instituição particular em Brasília (DF). Por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, baseadas no conceito de capital social de Pierre Bourdieu (1998), esta pesquisa pretende estabelecer quais são os impactos sociais e as perspectivas de mudança que a participação no ProUni promoveu entre os estudantes bolsistas, segundo a visão dos próprios beneficiados. Dois grupos de alunos são o foco dessas entrevistas: alunos ingressantes e egressos. O intuito foi estabelecer uma relação entre expectativas e ganhos efetivos de capital social.
