Description
Summary:This research analyzes the discourses of educational inclusion in the context of globalization in order to verify the ideologies that these discourses convey. To achieve this goal, the corpus consists of documentary sources and ethnographic data collected in interviews with handicapped students and with professionals who has experience in their practice with educational inclusion. The researcher takes the role of object researcher and therefore her experiences are also collected as part of the analytical corpus. The adopted methodological approach is qualitative methodology in view of Bauer and Gaskell (2002), Flick (2004, 2009), Denzin (2006) and Fairclough (2001, 2003, 2006, 2010). The theoretical approach that mobilizes research is the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis based on Fairclough (2001, 2003, 2006, 2010); the analysis of the theory of ideologies Thompson (1995) and the categories of inclusion and exclusion of social actors of Theo van Leeuwen (1997, 2008). These theories are articulated and allow us to understand the discourses of educational inclusion analyzed to recontextualize up serving ideologies of hegemonic globalization; but on the other hand, the research also discloses language tags fights and resistance against hegemonic. In the process of re-contextualization and this dispute by speech itself, people with disabilities gain spaces in speeches and social practices, with more strength and reach of power.
